Each of us has individual desires - we are different.
We also have much in common. For example, We ALL want more ..of something.
You may choose to expect good, rather than react to whatever we *perceive around us, and make the conscious choice to become an aware observer. Not detached/aloof or uncaring, but in the posture of a witness or observer, so not attached to a specific outcome. By doing so you become open to allowing something better to arrive into your awareness.
* perceive - to view through our distinct and individually formatted lenses. (perception is entirely subjective)
We can learn to 'tap into' the continuous, eternal 'stream' of well-being. We can consciously decide to allow "Source" or Holy energy to flow. We can intend to be a non-resisting conduit for the healing, loving, energizing power that is Eternal and Infinite (and seeking expression). St. Francis' prayer comes to mind - Lord, Let me be an instrument of Thy peace. I like the paraphrase: Let me be an efficient and effective conduit for Love.
Meditation can help you become aware.. and you will come to enjoy your time spent with the Infinite. You get to play more. (side note: The vibration of "Play" and the vibration of "Pray" are remarkably similar). Keep growing..

1) According to your faith it will be done to you.
2) The visible consequence of faith is taking action aligned with it.
Quoting Dr. Michael Beckwith, you will be, "Placing yourself in a position to have an affirmative realization of what's so in this magnificent elegant Universe, and then walking in the direction of that." .."Being out there, where the action is, with 'All Systems, Go' knowing that everything is working together for your good".
"..Walking in the direction of your prayer work, knowing that it has already happened in the Mind of God and in the Mind of the Universe".
What is true is true whether we 'get it' or not. Our planet is roughly spherical whether or not we recognize it. If people think the world is flat (they used to, remember), that doesn't change what's true about it's shape.
Here's a cool Beckwith quote, speaking on how what we see comes into our lives (what process it is by which thoughts become things - how it is manifested) and that we can change our experiences for the better.. as we improve our conscious focus.
"Its about developing a way of life.. [and] ..a whole manner of strategies that, when applied, will change your life and change your circumstances."
Understanding that (paraphasing Dr. Beckwith) people are a living self-fulfilling prophecy of their ambient focus.. and once you can begin to take dominion over your focus and establish intention.. ..you begin to notice [miraculous things].
